How to fix my wind screen wipers?

Due to the heavy snow fall, my front windscreen wipers are not working. I have had a look in the manual and it states that this happens due the system automatically cutting of the power supply to the wipers. How do I get these working again.

On most cars overloading the wipers as you have done will blow a fuse which will require replacing. You don't say what car you have, but I would find the fuse box and look for a big fuse that has blown - probably 20 amps or more. Your car handbook should tell you where the fuse box is and which fuse it is. Alot of people will be having the same problem as you today. Clear your windscreen and check the wipers aren't frozen to the screen before you turn them on!
