problem with astra 1.4 16v engine help!?

i got a slight problem with my astra when doing around 30-40 the car starts to kangaroo,engine management light not on,ayone help,if you can txt me your number on 07866542331 i will ring you back straight away,cheers

yes found the problem,changed the complete throttle body with both sensors on there,drives lovely now

i have had it plugged into a machine the mechanic said it was down to the thermostat,anyway i have put thermostat in the car now bought new temp sensor switch and still jerking seems to be when engine warms up,anybody help please!!!!!!??????

No point second guessing. You need to have a diagnostic check. You could buy a diy OBD 2/can reader off the bay for less than £30. OBD port under handbrake lever in side car, just plug reader into it when ECU light on & you will get a fault code.

Clogged EGR valve?
or
perhaps you're using supermarket petrol?
or
perhaps you've gone too long between oil and filter changes. New oil (correct grade) and filter could make a difference, may need a flush if you've gone far too long on the old oil.
