Sewing Machines, how can I fix frozen reverse?

I have a 1967 Morse Fotomatic Zig-Zag model 4100. The reverse button is frozen, and I cannot use the reverse function. It also affects the dial that regulates the M Knob. Otherwise it sews perfectly. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks,

I have a frister+rossmann panda 6 mkii. The stitch still works but the matrial doesn't move. I have cleaned it and oiled it.

Hello Paula,
You need to get to the inside and spray some WD40 on the moving parts that you can see, if you can take the top off that is the best way in, push the button in quite a few times when you have oiled it, if that does not free it off then you have another problem which will mean a shop repair.
