Any advice on how to replace the element on the dh200? having a look inside my machine there is no obvious element proud of the surface. will some of the interior need removing to get at the element?

yes it could be the heater and could be changed by you with some basic tools.testing the element with a multimeter would be a good idea to confirm it has blown before paying out for a new one
