my mums pc is a Compaq Vista PC and shes got a Lexmark X1270 fully connected up to it. Recently, it will not print out the document when told to, it will only do it when you reboot. plus ive noticed within the printer selection screen in the Computer Settings window, there is 2 copies of the printer.

This happens some times if you change the USB port that the printer is connected to.

Easiest way is turn off the printer then delete both of the printers in the control panel. The switch on the printer and re-load the drivers (should be automatic) then ensure the new single printer is set to the default
