My condenser dryer is not working?

My White Knight condenser tumble dryer has stopped heating (and drying) the filters are clear and the water bottle empty. It has been sounding quite noisy for the last few weeks?

I have a Servis condenser dryer, 5 years old and well used. It is starting to work but after few seconds it's stops and it is showing that the water basin is full, which is not - it is empty. Do you have an idea pls what it is wrong? It is a sensor? I just have no money for a new one so I would love to fix it on my own if it is possible. Thank you for any help.

Sounds like it may be bearing failure. If it's more than five years old that's quite possible if it's less than three it's unlikely. Unplug the machine and open the door and with your hand try and rotate the drum, it should move happily but don't expect it spin like a bicycle wheel! You could try lifting the front of the drum up to see if there is any loose freeplay - if there is that would point to bearing failure as well as the noise.
