How can I fix my Hotpoint CTD00P Condensing tumble dryer wont get hot?

How can I fix my Hotpoint CTD00P Condensing tumble dryer. It wont get hot although the drum still spins? Also when I do switch it on there is a burning smell. Is this a job I can do myself and if so where is the part located. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having trouble with ours too. It's only 2 yrs old and if I switch it on, the power in the whole house switches off
