i have purchased a hinari lifestyle dishwasher but have no instructions i do not know if it takes tablets or liquid as there is no compartment for tab also do not know where salt goes

Hi Tasha,
the salt goes into the salt container in the bottom of the machine, the filler hole is the 1 on the left hand side just in front of the heating element, (personally I dont use salt as there is enough salt agent in the modern wash tabs) as for the the wash tabs you have to use slimeline tabs in this unit,
