I have the spare part already. The original (still mounted) appears to be tucked under a ridge in the door shell. There are no screws for disassembling the door itself. It appears from the instructions (single sheet of paper - poor quality photocopy) that the original seal is "ripped" out and the replacement is self adhesive. Does anyone know if this is correct or if have received the wrong replacement part?

this is correct,primative it seems,but you do just take out the old one carefully,as you might rip the door linear,tuck the new one in and gently silicone the seal in place,shut the door making sure it seals and then tape it for 24 hours so the silicone can set
