sharp er a570?

Sorry I don't know how to continue the thread so had to put this as a new question.

What you said about making the PLU key able to accept any amount is what I want to do (like you said). Please could you let me have the code and thank you ever so much for all your help (its been driving me mad for about a week!!!!!)

thanks

I have the plu's linked to departments and what I would like to do is make it so that if a customer buys a drink for instance which isn't on the PLU list I can assign a button for drinks and enter any amount into it (i.e. it stays in that department but I can manually input the price). Either that or let me know if I can programme the number keys so they work with st and tl.

Is it also possible to store items and recall them later, e.g. we have a restaurant and as each table places an order we write it down and add it all up at the end and I wondered if it would be possible to store each tables purchases and recall them at the end (I'm not hopeful its possible but thought I'd ask anyway).

thanks

Ok. I just need to know if you are using department linking. That is, did you link your PLUs to various departments in your programming in order to break the PLUs down into basic categories on the reports? If you haven't (you just set a price and name for each PLU), then it is easy. If you have, then you need to use a different code and set them individually. Let me know and I'll step you through the procedure
