My flatmate mixed up the leads on his camira. What is the firing order of the cylinders Left to Right? also what conection on the distributor corresponds to which spark plug? Thanks in advance

I Have 1987 Camira SL 2.0 Ei I have been outside to check mine and if you can follow this, because I am no mechanic. but here goes.
If you look at your distrubutor the lead at 12 o clock goes to the far cylinder, then the one at Quarter past goes to the next one to it, the one at half past goes to the nearest cylinder, and quarter to is the one left.
