hello,
every time I plug my mp3 player into the usb port at the front of pc, the screen goes blank and I have to crash the pc, when I go back in the screen says 'your computer has just recovered from a serious error' any ideas?

Does the same thing happen when you plug it into a port in the back? What kind of Mp3 player do you have? Mp3 players rarely get virus' on them, so I doubt it's that. What do you mean "you have to crash the pc?" Do you mean that you have to hit the reset button? Do you have to hold the power button?

When you insert the Mp3 player, does the computer just freeze? Does it respond when you hold the keys [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Delete]? Do you receive an error message?

Sorry if this seems like a lot to ask, but the more detail I have to go on, the more likely I am to be able to help!

Try to format your USB drive and than let you connect again, Coz it's a Huge virus in that
