i was wondering how to replace fuse for cigar lighter my focus nearly 2 year old its the new shaped focus lx

not quite i open the glove compartment squeeze the two sides in which lets me into the fuse box be carefull as there is i plastic that stops the compartment from opening to fare it is a 15 amp fuse large one not mini as my stuped car care gave me cigar light works but not the lighter so i need to replace the holder how do i get too it

Hi, Just had the same problem and most Ford dealer were more than useless. If fuse box in the footwell has numbers starting from 100 up, then the cigar lighter number is 109 and is micro blade 20amp. Otherwise fuse 39 again 20amp. Fusebox changed around 2006/7. Hope this helps.
