How can I fix my 1999 Chrysler Town & Country?

I have a 1999 Chrysler Town & Country Limited. It has 75,000 miles on it. The speedometer stopped working along with the cruise control. The check engine light came on. The rpm's are around 3000 -4000. This happened all at the same time without any warning. Can you help me?

Insert key and turn it on - off - on - off - on at max 5 sek or something like that... than the car shows it error codes by *blinking* with checkengine lamp.

*blink* *blink* *blink* *paus* *blink* *blink* means code 32
you can find the codes at internet... or in the haynes service book.
It can be a sequens of more codes like 47, 32, 11 so you just have to test a couple of times.
I think code 55 means ok but im not sure... it works at my -95 Gr.Voy and i think it should work at yours too...

Dear Sandra:
I know what you are going through.I just bought a 1996 Dodge Caravan. It has 108,560 miles on it but it runs like a new one. The check engine light was no and the last ownertook it to the shop. They said that they couldn't find anything wrong with it. The bad part was it was only two years old when this problem started. And the owner had to take it to the dealer each year just to clear the coad. Just to get it inspected. Any way I am writing you to let you know that you can find out what may be causing the problem. You might try this first. Most newer model cars have trouble with ststic electrisity causing trouble with the computer. Try disconecting the negitive side of the battery for at least 5 minutes. This will reset the computer and may clear the defect codes that is causing your service engine light to come on. I did that and the light went out. But only for a few miles and it came back on shortly after that. So I went to my locel auto parts store and they checked the computer with a scan tool. Thats when I found out that the car had set a defect code to the computer causing the light to come on. It said that the oxygen sencer's were noy working properly. So I changed them out and that fixed the problem. Noe I wouldn't take for the van. The best investment I have ever made. So hang in there. And try my suggestion and see what happens. Who knows it may be the same thing with yours. Any Good luck!
