Where can I get an answer to a question re:Crofton 10 cup coffee maker?

I have used my Crofton 10 cup coffee maker Model #XQ-698T item #6537 about 10 times and today it doesn't work. The red light on the front top of the unit does not come on as usual and the pot doesn't get hot or drip coffee. What could be the problem?

You may not get too many answers and it doesn't matter that much that your question is posted in the sewing machine section of the site...

If the red light that usually comes on is not coming on it suggests a power problem - check the power socket by plugging in another device. If the plug is fused then check the fuse. If you can use the power cord on another appliance as a check then do that too. If the machine has a fuse holder take the fuse out and check it.

Now if the red light always comes on (to show it's plugged in and switched on) it may be a problem with the on/off switch. If the red light indicates something else such as up to temperature or up to pressure for instance then you have a clue.

If the fault is simple and external to the machine you can probably fix it yourself but if the fault is inside the machine you will either have to take it apart to diagnose and repair - or take it to a shop where this can be done for you.

I have seen this coffee maker also described as being by Wachsmuth & Krogmann Inc - same model number.
