no heating from gb 242/2-5 vaillant ?

HI ,we have a vaillant gb 242/2-5 the hot water works fine but the heating reaches about 79 on temp then quickly switches off.the water doesnt heat rads.and the rtn pipe on the boiler side is completly cold .but the pump works fine. any advice ?
