how do i know if my head gaskets gone?

i have a 2001 vauxhall astravan dti 1.7 and want to know how do i tell if my head gaskets gone

look in your header tank you should see a steady stream of air bubbles, its what makes the pressure in your header tank :( just done mine on me disco..

Exessive white/grey smoke from the tailpipe.pressure in the coolant header tank.oil in the coolant.engine overheating.cabin fan blowing cold air.poor starting.engine missfire.any,or all of the above.One thing gnteed,it'll get worse.
