Can I fix my Oster 4811 Breadmaker?

After a horrible noise during mixing that has since stopped, the paddle in my Oster 4811 Breadmaker is no longer going around. The motor makes its normal mixing sounds. The part that the bread pan fits into does not go around anymore, so that presumably is the problem. It isn't frozen; I can move it with my hand. Anyone know what would cause this, and can it be fixed?

Mine is doing the same thing and its not the belt. If you get an answer let me know. wayupnorth1962 gmail. com
