IBM thinkpad 600 with error code 301?

My laptop was working fine and it got unpluged and drained the battery. It recharged to "green" lite LED, but when I went to restart it, I got error code 00301. I pressed Esc and F2 while restarting and the complete diagnostic test was ok, any ideas?

Besides this this error code 301, my computer only goes to the blue screen which I cannot get past. Is there any hope?

Its a keyboard error.

301 is a keyboard error. I suggest that you download a Hardware Maintenance Manual from www.lenovo.com and work your way through the diagnostics.
