ABS light on dash wont go out. auto electrician couldnt find the diagnostic connection to plug computer in to find fault. does the 1994 ford mondeo have a connection? thanx

yes. all cars have since about 1992,has plug under bonnet ,three pin triangular plug black with a red blankin plug installed.remove red cap bridge two bottom pins together with piece of wire,use test lamp in bottom pin.other side of test lamp earthed,ignition on test lamp will flash fault codes. your sparks man. not too good

I've looked through my Mondeo book although it refers to auxillary diagnostic warning sytem there is no reference to a 'Plug in' merely says take vehicle to Ford dealer for diagnosis when fault lights show.
If you do, then ask them if it has adiagnostic socket/plug and where its located.
