your brake management system is probably at fault.your only solution is to take it to a reputable garage or auto electrician to diagnose the problem. this could be costly as my friend had a v reg focus which had exactly the same problem as you and cost over £600 to fix.im not saying it will cost this much for you but expect to fork out some dough!!. leave it till after xmas!!. thankyou.
