is there a way to manually open a ford focus boot lock without a key?

The key has broken off in the lock and the electric lock has failed,can the lock be opened manually from the inside.

Yes, use a four pound hammer.
Beat the quarter rear window out.
Open door from there and then use the boot opening latch.

Mick c, What you can try is, open the door that has the broken key, remove the door panel, locate the locking mechanism, take a paper clip and push it into the back side of the door lock, and that should push the broken key out,,,
