Wedge recliner cable broke?

Wedge recliner bought in 2002 as part of a sectional has a cable on the right hand side as you sit in it. The cable has broken and I need to replace it. Where nad how do I acquire the correct cable?

hope this will help you, take out the broken cable and measure it you will have to put the chair on its back or upside down to do this, remove the bottm cloth for easier access as you will see the cable is similar to a brake cable on a bike assuming you have got the cable off look for your nearest upholstery supplier in the phone book they should be able to provide you with the right size,at the top of the page i asked you to measure the cable,if a supplier cannot provide you with a replacement go along to halfords where they will make one up for you remember its only the end fittings that need to be similar to operate the mechanism, and at a final throw of the dice if you know the name of the manufacturer try their website, good luck
