My 5 year old Ariston freezer has just stopped working (not cooling either fridge or freezer). Power getting through as light on in fridge but nothing happening - the light's on but no body's home freezing!
Any thoughts help appreciated.

Before the comp or gas fault can be said to be your fault, we need to know if the compresor is running.
If not you may have a control fault.

Technically goosed, compressor failure or leak in pipework causing coolant to escape are the 2 most likely causes, both are terminal - you need a new one, sorry.
