Chilled water stopped working so I changed filter no joy.
Changed water valve at back...still no joy but ice maker works fine....Any ideas anybody?

Check the coil of pipe in the lower part of the fridge, behind the lower salad tray, these often freeze up.

If this doesn't fix it
1. Either turn off for 24 hours
2. Make sure that food items are not close to the ventilation slits/ducts inside the fridge main housing restricting air flow.
