SAAB 9-5 key battery?

How can I change the battery in my car key? The car is a 9-5 (52 reg) and is an integrated remote control and ignition key.

this is easier than you think. The replacement battery is a CR1632 available easily on the web. Once you have one follow these simple steps:
using a strong thin jewel screwdriver or similar push it into the hole in the side of the key this will casue the lid to lift slightly on the back of the key using another flat balde screwdriver open the lid and the battery will be xposed Avoid touching the new battery too much as the moisture form your fingers will reduce life expectancy once replaced close the lid with a click
