The dial thing is the pump cover - it does hold a little water, you can unscrew it, clean it out and check the seal. Not much water will come out - just have a towel under it. The little black hose to the upper left is the drainer, you can pull it out and upcap the end... Our 1200 is leaking from the main hose which is inside the main body of the wm, but just above the "litle door thing". Is it possible that your hose has a hole too, and it just looks as if the leak is arond the pupm cover? I'm searching for the replacement part number for the main hose now...
