just fitted engine in to mk6 escort td got the live for the stop valve sorted but cant get a live to start it . i take it the imobilser stoping me ?? wat can i do ??

na mate done away with chip to the pump for the shut off valve only nneed to find a live from that bit of harness that turns on when the key is turned ond off as well. was thinking of runnin a wire from the 3 rd postion on ignition barrel to the starter wire

hi chap got the same problem as you , have you tried to arc the starter across to see if it fires up? theres also a imob on the pump if your motor wont start you will have to get ford to reprogram the transponder chip in your key with the pump, im going to have anouther go at the van i got tomorrow but will let you know if i have any luck
