I have a PHILIPS phone one day I was playing around with the Melodies when suddenly a bunch of numbers came up then it said searching I pressed the red phone button then it went to 1 battery(there are 3 bars on the battery meter)I then pressed the red phone button again 3 times on the 3rd time it made the croaky noise . I then Locked it and unlocked it on the unlocking bit it made that croaky noise.After a while I checked the ringer to see if I could fix it but all the melodies were that croaky noise except number one which I had already.It also makes the noise when I try to phone someone and when I put it on the charger every 2nd time.

It is a Dect 225 It has a Y on a little square at the top.
The Croaky noise sounds like one of the first 5 melodies number 4 I think and sometimes it sounds like my current ringer mixed in with the croaky noise.

Hi Sarah,

I just had this problem occur and simply removing the batteries for 5 minutes fixed it.
