turn off heating at mains, then bleed down stairs rad first then go and do the ones up stairs till water comes out of each one ifyou have a combi boiler keep an eye onthe gauge so it dose not drop below 1 bar .but if it is tank fed no problem when allrads have been bled go to tank in airing cubourd there should be a small bleed valve by storage tank open it let out some water ,then go and turn on heating back on .should be ok.

Hi Peter, A radiater will not suck air in as it is under pressure, so when you bleed it, the air is pushed out.
It sounds to me as if your pump has a problem, and therefore not giving you the pressure you need.
