i have this problem too... i don't think so tkat i will have to buy new camera or computer because computer is 1yrs old and camera 2 mth :) :P ---- but i like milk :P

I´m pretty sure this is because of your computer. I had same message with my old lady but my friends´ younger computers have worked well.

Unfortunately TomP you are absolutely right. They mean well but actually hinder by giving 'stock' answers.

I have this error as well. I'm guessing (and I admit it) that there is a VIDeoCAPture handle in windows 98 that has been taken out of XP/Vista/VistaBugFix (aka Windows 7) and the therefore the driver cant find it.

Reckon it could be time to add to Global Warming, care of Microsoft, and be forced to buy a new cam :-(

I don't think there is an answer. Of all those so-called computer experts out there, not one has an answer to the questions: What is 80040275? Where did it come from? What does it do? How can it be fixed?

All we get is a lot of lip service with no answers. I thought those folks were smart, but I'm just as smart as they are because I don't know the answer either. How can this answer be so hard for an expert?
