my punto was filled with to much oil their was a leak,not just the exccess oil coming out. changed the rocker cover gasket, still not firing properly changed the ht leads,changed the oil found that the sump is leaking. now when start the car and drive their is knocking and whirring noise and when i put my foot on the clutch the noise goes,also i can floor the clutch but revs only go to about 20mph please help.

hehehehehe fixed many a punto.its the coils where your spark leads plug into...there should be2...one for low revs and one for high.........change one and if it doesnt make a difference swap it back again and change the other one this way you'll only have to buy one.....dont let anyone tell you different as i very nearly forked out £600 plus for a new ecu think the part was about £30quid......check out fiatboo.co.uk has all the info for fiats youll ever need.......good luck
