it looks like shaffick has never changed a sump on a renault, lol. he has most of it correct apart from the bit about slackening off the subframe and lowering it down far enough, possibly even right down, to drop the sump out, there are 2 types of sump, tin and alloy, the alloy is a little harder to remove as you have to be carefull not to put too much pressure on as it may crack, oh and if you do tackle this job, you are best off disconnectcing the steering rack from the subframe before hand, also i would suggest not to do this on ramps as the subframe keeps your front suspension lined up, probs best to jack up on the body and support with axle stands, renaults eh??????? built by robots designed by aliens

i have not worked on your model but have on other cars. i can't give you a diagram but can give you a step by step guide. you may need an assitant to help remove and refit sump. i can only presume that your sump is leaking and porous.try carrying this task about an hour or two after the engine has been run as the oil is thin. TAKE CARE AS ENGINE OIL IS VERY HOT!!. 1 drive car over pit or drive on ramps.if on ramps chock rear wheels and ensure handbrake is on. 2 if on ramps place cardboard sheet underneath sump area. 3 remove any engine covers underneath engine. 4 remove plug and drain oil into suitable container. 5 if your car hasn't had an oil change recently remove the oil filter( you may need a special strap or wrench for this). 6 loosen all the sump bolts(they are usually normal headed bolts, allen key or torq bolts.) 7 remove all bolts then remove sump.if sump is stuck on use a block of wood and gently tap around the sump. have an assistant to help you as there might be some oil in the sump.once completely removed there will be some drips from the engine block so allow to drip on the cardboard for an hour. 8 put a fresh piece of cardboard down and clean the face of the engine block of any old gasket and sealant.use a scraper and some solvent cleaner to help you. 9 make sure the face of the sump is clean also.10 you will need a sump gasket and some sealant (hylomar instant gasket is good. it is either blue or white and comes in a tube or silicone style cartridge). 11 use an "S" or "snake" formation to apply the sealant around the holes on the sump then fit gasket.apply some sealant on top of the gasket in the same formation. 12 fit the sump to the engine block and fully tighten bolts.ensure that the drain plug is tight. if you are using the old plug use a new copper washer. 13 if you removed the oil filter, clean the filter face on the engine with a cloth. with your finger use a little engine oil to smear the rubber seal on the filter then fit. use only your hands to tighten filter and not a wrench/strap. make sure your hands are clean and not greasy so you have a good grip.allow the car to stand for an hour or two to allow the sealant to cure. 14 now you have to refill the engine with oil.if you are using new oil, pour the old oil into a measuring jug and take note of the measurement. with the measurement at hand pour the new oil in.remember you will have to add a little more as the filter will have to fill up. start your engine and drive of ramps. your oil light should go out. once on level ground check your oil level several times wiping your dipstick everytime. 15 roadtest your car and check your oil level.check for leaks around sump area.good luck
