chime will not reset?

on the accenta G 3 alarm how do you stop the chime bleeping when you enter a room{already tried the reset button}

press chime then the numbers of the zones that are beeping then press ,set, reset i,e if the lounge is zone 2 and its beeping ,press chime ,1,set, reset.hope this helps
