new battery fitted no sign of clicking from solidnoid fuses ok can solidnoid be fitted separately, i assume that is the problem

make sure that there is a 12v feed to small solenoid wire when key turned to start position -it may be a fault with relay or wiring!

I take it you have lights on the dashboardand the problem is the van wont start /turnover

just get a new starter motor and it should be ok or if your on a budget get one from a breaker ,but take your old one with you there are so many differnt ones
