My White Knight W767 making a very strange noise help plz?

Hi my white knight tumble dryer is making a very loud grinding, thudding, banging noise when it is turning one way but when it reverses and turns the other way it is like it was when I bought it new very quiet, anyone any ideas what this could be please, thought it might be the bearings but wondered which ones before I buy anything.
Thankyou.

Did as suggested by chuck and replaced rivets with 5mm bolts with double nuts zinc plated with loctite thread sealant and is now as quiet as a mouse.
Thanks chuck

drill out the rivets and replace with M5 bolts and nuts, and definitely use loctite 270 or 2701, or the nuts will work themselves loose and problem will recur very quickly. Suggest using 2 nuts per bolt, and zinc/steel rather than stainless steel, as loctite works better on zinc.

OK, bit the bullet and stripped the tumble down, ours is about 10 years old and is a CL432/1A so don't know if that's the same as yours Jen. We had nothing too loose!

There is a three pronged bearing mount at the back of the drum that is riveted on, each of the rivets has come loose allowing the drum to shift against the mount making a thumpy bang noise in one direction only.
I have removed the drum, ground off the rivets and propose to bolt the three legged holder back on to the drum but will replace the bearing first whilst it's in bits with this http://www.espares.co.uk/part/tumble-dryers/white-knight-(crosslee)/cl432-031243215001/p/1088/129/0/631740/100217/rear-drum-bearing-repair-.html

This fits inside the holder and is also slightly worn.

Hope it helps.
