how to fix vauxhall vectra?

problem with drivers door the car thinks the door is still open when it is closed so can not lock it with central locking car is 2003 vauxhall vectra ls.

sounds like the interior light switch is bust,which makes the alarm/central locking system think the door is still open.check that.
