my electrolux dishwasher leaked from the bottom left hand side. After having a new seal fitted and silicon put round the soap dispenser it now leaks from the top left as well.

We bought our Electrolux dishwasher on Jan 17,2009. It stopped working in a year + a few days after the purchase. The leak repair service kit needed to be replaced. With no warranty the company agreed to pay for the part and service charge. That was nice but now, eleven months later the unit again stopped working and it is giving the same error message "leak detector". We bought it because it is quiet- it is very quiet now! We paid $900 for it and I agree that it just is not worth the price.

I agree. Our 1 year old is a worst dishwasher we have ever owned!!!!!!!!! It just started leaking. Replacing with a kitchenaid next week.

electrolux has a serious design probem...leaking doors

the units are over-priced and do not do a acceptable job of cleaning

Do not pay $1200-$1400 , there are lots of $500 or less units that clean better!!

Ours is 16 months old ..will set it out for trash pickup next week !!! ( note: Bought 5 year extended warrantee...not worth fixing door leak ,waiting 4 weeks for parts from Electrolux... the unit is the worst dishwasher we have ever had..have to hand wash pots and all glass ware !!)
