I have a Pulse Strider 2600 Treadmill that was given to me as a gift. However, it only operates on Moderate speed. Does anyone know how to repair this? Can it be that there's a problem with the motor? Please help. Thanks.

i too have a pulsestrider 2600 pro and it only works at a slower speed, what is wrong is the pully on the motor is worn out. i have put lubricant on it and it works a while, the plastic is worn out on the pully. the pully varies and changes ratio as you move the leaver on the right side up and down. i am looking for a new pully for my machine but have had no luck yet. if anyone knows where i can get one please let me know.

There is a lever on the right that moves back and forth and controls the speed by moving the tension of the pully on the motor. Make sure that the pully, under the cover, is tight for full speed.
