Hi
Sounds like you may still have water in the keyboard. You may be able to dry it out and it be fine otherwise you may need to replace the keyboard worst case you have trashed the system board but i would be supprised if that was the case. Cost to repace the keyboard depends on the machine some are as little as £15 others more like £80-90. Usually they are easy to replace, on most machines i have done in the past when they have failled under warranty the parts are considered user replaceable they just send me the part out, not a great problem if you are used to fitting them but i can understand how some people wouldnt like having to do it themselves. how the keyboard comes off depends greatly on the machine some thimes you have to take screws out otherstimes clips to move or a panel to take off first sorry i cant give you instuctions for your machine as you havent said what it is. once its free from the casing there is one or 2 cables to disconect from the board be carefull though as what is probably a cheapish repair will become very expensive if you damage the connector on the board. As to dry them out well i usually remove the battery and harddrive and leave the machine itsself open in a warm place like the airing cupboard for a day or 2, it needs to be warm but not hot so dont leave it on a radiator as it will get to hot.
