I have a V reg Mondeo and the speedo stops suddenly with a slight drop in power and the radio volume drops after 20 - 30mls it will come back on and stay on for the rest of the journey, when moving of again after sometime this will happen again when it comes on the power increases I need to find an answer to this crazy problem HELP

The electronic speed sensor on the gearbox at fault, the radio uses the speedo info to maintain the sound level depending on the road speed and the power drop will be the engine ecu useing it's stored values for the sensor
