heres a tip open up plug first, then go to machine and gain access to panel where cable enters machine note wire colour/location get a cheap continuity tester and connect to brown at plug and brown on machine if tester buzzes wire is good, repeat for other wire colour, result should be the same,this proves cord is good to machine,if not replace cord to machine,you can also check if switch on machine is good by connecting tester across switch and turning on then off if tester buzzes when on and doesnt when switch is off switch is good good luck r dalton
