Replacing Maytag Neptune Bearing?

I have a Maytag Neptune it sounds like the tub bearing has gone.

Can I just replace the bearing?

How do you do it?

Do I have to replace the entire tub?

How do you do that?

I am very mechanical how hard is this?

Do I need any special tools?

It's a nightmare. I am a professional with 20 years experience, and that is one of the worst jobs there is. Taking appliances apart is bad enough, but putting it back together will drive you crazy. Either pay someone to do it, or throw the piece of crap out.
p.s. - It will be recycled, maybe made into something better...

I am very interested in the reply to this question, since I have the same problem.

Please email me at XXgreedy4chips@charter.net without the XX in front.

Thanks for any help!
