I have just purchased a pair of GHDs from the www.likeghds.com website and I am wondering if this is genuine due to a womans comments writing telling us that she purchased a pair and they are not going made me wonder whether its a genuine website I have bought from.

They are definitely NOT genuine ghd hair irons. As a leading repairer of ghd hair irons we come across these irons fairly regularly. On the positive side we come across genuine ghd's just as often, £60 for a fake or £160 for the genuine product !!! The choice is yours.

Looks decidedly dodgy to me ... they say in their small print...

"...disclaims any and all warranties, expressed or implied, for any merchandise offered on this site." i.e. you can't get refund or exchange and they go on to say...

"Any action or proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement or your use of this Site must be brought in the China Beijing Court and you consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of such courts."

There is no 'phone number and no street address.

The official ghd site deilvers a little more confidence in their products with a clear returns policy, 'phone numbers and a street address and warranty periods of either 12 or 24 months.
