How can I reset my Piranha car alarm?

I have a Piranha alarm on my Alfa 164 which worked perfectly. The battery went flat and I used jump leads. The Alarm now shows a fault signal (constantly blinking light) and I have no courtesy lights. How can I reset things. I have since fitted a new battery
