vauxhall vectra starts then runs but cuts out?

Vauxhall vectra 1998 sri starts runs for a short while then the dash stops working and the car cuts out, leave it for ten minutes then it starts but cuts out again this keeps repeating its self,

99% its the cam shaft position sensor common fault on them but there also suffer from throttle position sensor hope it helps
