Hi,

I own a 1.4 16v Renault scenic and im lost at what to do next. When we first bought the car it didnt idle smoothly so I changed the coils...then it started to run on 3 cylinders So I replaced the ECU with the correct Recon Unit for the car....replaced the crank sensor and again have replaced all 4 coils with genuine renault parts. The problem I have now is that when its cold its a right pain to start, when it does start it dosent run on all cylinders when cold but runs fine above 2k when warm and is lumpy/misses below that.

Has anyone any ideas what I sould try next? Ive spent a small fortune on the car and dont wont it to beat me!

it sounds like a faulty injector,disconnect the injector connectors one at a time to try and determine which one.they are easy to change and not too expensive.

Yeah thats fair enough....however if I sell it I wouldnt get my cashback and the next car may be just as plagued.

Im starting to think it may be a wiring loom fault.
