It is making a loud noise and the drum is not turning. I had a look in the back and the motor is working but the belt is not turning. The machine did initially fill with water.

this a wonderful washer well worth repairing if you have oil on the floor it may mean the seal (wh8x281)has failed and all the oil has came out its an easy fix remove the agitator by pulling on the neck remove the tub remove the boot remove the tranny invert the tranny in a vise remove and replace seal add 2 quarts of motor oil .10w 40 is good ..replace tranny .this is not a hard job! take your time
