have you checked the drum motor brushes? either that or there may be an overheat stat built into the motor itself. these are normally self resetting, but if the motor is over heating for any reason it will probably need replacing. next time it stops mid spin, isolate the power to the machine at the wall and then place your hand on the motor. if ouchy, then look into replacement motor. this is easy to do and should be easily sourced....and alot cheaper than a new machine
