It's been starting fine with a few dies recently. This morning it started for a millisecond, puffed and died. It won't start at all now. I'm thinking fuel pump or fuel filter, but I don't know how to check for either on this car. Any help would be great. thanks Mitzi mljones@swedishamerican.org or mitzijonesr@aol.com

How many miles on car ......
HAte to say it but they are known for the timing chains to slip on morning starts ....but there is a fitting on the fuel rail where you can check fueal pressure with gauge .....could also take air duck off going to the throttle body and spray something like carb cleaner in there after you open throttle and if it starts and quits you are proably on the right rack .....if not check for fire at the plugs .....think I have a manaul here on the car so repost and we can help/
